The Pickstock Group take on The Three Peak Challenge
Employees from the Pickstock Group of companies are to complete the Three Peak Challenge in June 2013, as a charity fundraising event for Shropshire and North Wales Marie Curie Cancer.
The challenge is in memory of Martin Thorpe, both a friend and colleague, who sadly passed away last year after battling with cancer. Twenty two employees from Elements Europe, JRoss Developments Ltd and JR Pickstock Ltd as well as Martin's family have volunteered to walk the three peaks, which has been named “Martin’s Mountains.”
The walk will involve three mountains in three countries. Beginning at Ben Nevis, Scotland (1344m), to Scafell Pike, England (978m) and finishing the challenge with Snowdon, Wales (1085m).
